# Privacy policy

> amodb keeps only what it needs to run your account: your email, a password hash, hashes of your keys, daily request counts, request IP addresses for rate limits and abuse checks, and your orders. Card details go to the payment provider, never to amodb. The site has no ads, no analytics and no third party trackers.

We do not collect your name, address or phone number unless you send them to us.

## Payments

Card, Apple Pay and Google Pay payments are processed by a third party payment provider. The provider receives your card details; amodb never sees or stores them. amodb keeps your email, the order amount and the date.

## Cookies and local storage

- `amodb_sid`: one session cookie, set only when you log in. It is HttpOnly, Secure, limited to amodb.dev and expires after 30 days.
- Your theme choice, light or dark, is saved in your browser's local storage and never sent to us.

There are no advertising, analytics or tracking cookies, so there is no cookie banner.

## Who receives data

- Our hosting and network provider, which runs the website and the API.
- The payment provider that processes your payment.
- Authorities, when the law requires it.

We do not sell or rent personal data.

## Legal bases

We process your data to provide the service you pay for, to keep it secure, which is our legitimate interest, and to meet accounting and tax duties.

## Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your personal data, and you can object to processing. Write to <support@amodb.dev> from your account email. We answer within 30 days. You can also complain to the data protection authority of your country.

Deleting your account deletes your keys and usage counts. Order records stay as long as accounting law requires.

## Children

amodb is not meant for anyone under 16.

## Changes

We update this page when our data practices change. The date at the bottom shows the last change.
