## How prepaid periods work

You pay once for 1, 3, 6, 12, or 24 months. A longer period costs less per month, up to 40% off. Each payment adds its period to your current end date, so paying early never loses days.

When the period ends, calls return HTTP 402 with `status_code` 36. Your keys stay in your account and work again after the next payment.

## What every plan includes

- All TMDB v3 compatible read endpoints on `https://api.amodb.dev/3`, with the same paths and JSON.
- The OMDb compatible endpoint on `https://api.amodb.dev/omdb/`.
- Posters, backdrops and profiles on `https://img.amodb.dev/t/p/` in every TMDB size.
- 14 languages, the `moods`, `soundtracks`, `ratings`, `wikidata` and `showtimes` extensions and lookups by external id.

## Upgrades

An upgrade starts at once. The unused days of your old plan convert to days on the new plan by the price ratio. Every active key picks up the new rate within a minute, so you do not need new keys.

## Payments

You pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay on a secure payment page. A third party payment provider processes the card; amodb never sees or stores card numbers. amodb is the seller and keeps your email, the order amount and the date. See [refunds](https://amodb.dev/refunds/) and [terms](https://amodb.dev/terms/).

## Questions and answers

### Does any plan limit which endpoints I can call?

No. Every plan includes every TMDB v3 compatible endpoint, the OMDb compatible endpoint, images, all 14 languages and the amodb extensions. Plans differ only in requests per minute.

### What happens when my period ends?

Calls return HTTP 402 with status_code 36 and the message Your plan has expired. Your keys stay in your account and work again as soon as you pay for a new period.

### Does my plan renew on its own?

No. Plans are prepaid. Each payment adds its period to your current end date, and nothing is charged again unless you pay again.

### Can I upgrade in the middle of a period?

Yes. The new plan starts at once. The unused days of your old plan convert to days on the new plan by the price ratio, so you never pay twice for the same time.

### Which payment methods can I use?

Cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay. A third party payment provider processes the payment; amodb never sees your card details.

### Can I get a refund?

Payments are final. If the service was not delivered, for example your plan never activated, write to support@amodb.dev and we refund by hand.
